Arrifana Beach – The sand on Praia da Arrifana is of pale golden fine sand. The beach is backed by tall cliffs which afford some protection from the ravages of the Atlantic Ocean. You can surf almost every day of the year. It is the most consistent beach in Europe for surfers.

HIKING

The Portugal hiking trails are spread across the country from easy day trips to multi-day treks. What they all have in common is the astounding beauty of Portuguese nature.

Just right in front of the door stretching along the west coast you will find the Rota Vicentina. You will be accompanied by the ocean between jagged cliffs and, at times, you will be presented with seemingly endless fields of wild flowers. There cannot be a better suggestion for a walk…

This long hiking path stretches for nearly 400 km along one of the most beautiful and best preserved coastal areas of Europe. There are two main trails and eight circular routes to amaze us with their wonderfully diverse landscapes. Right in front of our Casas you can walk one of the shorter trails.
